THE ITALIAN PAINTER ANTONIO NUNZIANTE EXPOSES TO CHÂTEAU DE WAROUX
His works have been exhibited throughout Italy and beyond, reaching Tokyo, New York, Paris, Dubai and many other important cities.
In this second half of August, it is at the castle of Waroux that the Neapolitan painter Antonio Nunziante finds his works on display, in the same shared space as Magritte, Delvaux, Dali and others, which fits perfectly asserting himself as a Surrealist painter and Metaphysician.
The paintings chosen for this exhibition include an aura of mystery, solitude and silence of a torment which, despite its ability to express manifest absolute control, result from an internal malaise of the artist himself. Through a work of extreme precision, however, this expression has a “realistic without being photographic” according to the Neapolitan Master.
Nunziante is also a sculptor, several of his works decorate the exhibition visible at the Castle of Waroux until September 3 and is accessible from Tuesday to Saturday in the afternoon.
Curator: Jean-Christophe Hubert, art historian, university of Liège, commissioner of the exhibition, conservator of the Pablo Picasso collections in Bruges and Joan Mirò in Spa with the collaboration of Vincent Damseaux – SLCD and François-Xavier Remion
